Anyone who’s ever lived in Taipei has spent a weekend in Ruifang. There’s an attraction for virtually anyone; gold diggers congregate in Jinguashi, pussy grabbers skulk around Houtong Cat Village, and so on. Recently, however, hashers have begun asking if there’s more to the district than these tourist sites. Surely, the verdant jungle passing through the train window hides endless trail potential for overachieving hares? We need ask no longer, as Claw Hand has volunteered to be the Aladdin to our collective Princess Jasmine. Take his hand and ride his flying carpet above the treetops to discover “A Whole New Ruifang” this Sunday! 就算是台北俗也一定有在週末的時候去過瑞芳。 懷抱掏金夢的聚集在金瓜石，想抓小貓咪的(看你想抓哪種:-P)潛伏在猴硐貓村，或是想幹嘛的，那邊幾乎說是可以吸引到每個不同的族群。但是!貪婪的獵狗們最近又開始問起，啊那邊是還有甚麼新搞頭? 還有更多不是死觀光客打卡的點可以去嗎? 東聯，每每看到火車窗外的那片茂密叢林，一定有適合兔仔子們到處跑的路徑吧?? 大家跟宇宙發問下的需求得到回應了~因為鬼王清舉手自願做你們這些不滿現狀愛許願的茉莉公主們的阿拉丁。 請大家一起牽著他的手，坐上他的飛毯越過樹梢～這星期天來去發掘一個”煥然一新的瑞芳” !! … Only, there is no flying carpet. We’ll all be running. And when we say take his hand, don’t expect the soft and musky palm of an Arabian gentleman-vagabond. Claw Hand lives up to his name, and he intends to drag you over four scenic peaks in the area. We shouldn’t really say “New” Ruifang either, as exploring the old village is a highlight of this trail. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess the moral of the story is you shouldn’t always try to compare things to Disney’s Aladdin. Nevertheless, the trail looks AMAZING, and the bash place is certified delicious.
