This week, Jubacca and Tiny Balls are taking us on a run around Lingjiao, the sleepy cousin of Pingxi and Shifen. Following old maps, they’ve restored about 2km of old trails that had completely overgrown, linking together some sloshy river crossings and beautiful views. Tiny Balls even injured himself in the process! (MAY I) ( FIND ) ( TRUE) (LOVE ) ( GOOD ) (GRADES) (DADDY NO) (MORE SICK) Meanwhile, 69% Gay wrote her hopes and dreams onto Tiny Balls’ chest, and strapped him to an extra large lantern. Tiny Balls peered down at his naked torso, curious of his girlfriend’s deepest desires. “‘Oh! Face’…’Shot Girl’…’Haägen Dazs’…Darling, you seem to be writing a lot of female hashers’ names,” he said, meekly. “Uhuh.” “Are…you hoping we can do a three-way?” “That depends on how far away this lantern flies, doesn’t it?” “I’m not sure it’s safe for me to be attached to…” “Lanterns can’t talk, baby,” interrupted 69% Gay. She put her index finger up to her lips. Tiny Balls nodded quietly. Once she finished her wishlist, 69% Gay filled the lantern with fuel, and lit the wick. The lantern filled with a soft orange glow, and began to float upwards, pulling Tiny Balls with it. He called down to her, “See you later, sweetie pie. I hope your dreams come true!” “The first one already has!” she shouted up to him, but he wasn’t sure what she meant by that. Tiny Balls watched as 69% Gay and Pingxi Old Street became smaller and smaller. Soon he was looking down at mile after mile of idyllic hash country. A gentle wind blew him eastwards, and he saw a small village he didn’t recognize. It looked quiet and overlooked compared to Pingxi, but even from this altitude he could see beautiful trails all around. Then the fuel ran out. The lantern glided down gracefully at first, but Tiny Balls’ guts began to churn as his descent accelerated into a free fall. He looked down, hoping for a soft landing in some shrubbery, but instead saw he was headed straight towards a fenced-off, concrete area. A sign read: “Lingjiao Extreme Sports Park” *** Down in the park, Jubacca was taking his BMX for a spin. “Cowabunga, dude!” he shouted as he dropped into the halfpipe. Catching sick air on the other side, he executed a very rad double barspin. However, he was distracted by a topless, freckled dwarf falling from the sky. He fluffed the landing, came off his bike and landed on his back, just in time for Tiny Balls to land directly on top of him. “Totally bogus!” Jubacca shouted. “Boo hoo hoo!” wept Tiny Balls. Suddenly, Haägen Dazs jumped out from around a corner, dragging a police officer by his lapels. “Officer, look! Criminal trespass in progress!” she shouted. “Are you sure, madam? We don’t have much evidence that…” “Yes, I saw them enter without paying! I’ve already issued a statement to TVBS!” “Okay, that may be so, but if we can’t confirm their identity then…” “Jubacca and Tiny Balls! Also, Tiny Balls has some Metro Hashers written on him, so I gave all their names to the park managers. They said they definitely won’t take legal action and just like to read lists of random names!” “But your name is on there, too.” “A captain goes down with her sinking ship!
