This island of Taiwan is one of the most active centers of hashing in the world, the island is home to a ridiculous number of hashes running for a wide range of reasons. Weather you want to celebrate a birthday or run up a mountain in a typhoon Taiwan has you covered.

On this page you can find links and information to find all of the hashes on the island. There is no guarantee the information will be up to date however. If I have forgotten your hash please do let me know. 

Taipei Hash | Saturdays

Men only running on Saturdays in and around the Taipei area. Taipei Hash is the oldest hash on the island and boasts some of the oldest members too! 

Their website is ass ugly but it works, click here to find out where the next TH3 Run is. 

Taiwan Bear Hash | Saturdays

The Taiwan Bear Hash is one of the biggest hashes on the island. They run on Saturdays and allow anyone to join. 
Taiwan Bear boast some of the funniest Chinese down downs and an incredible line up of hares!

New Taipei Hash | Sundays

New Taipei Hash House Harriers are a family friendly hash running on Sunday afternoons. They serve as a good alternative to Taiwan Hash if you want to bring your kids a long but dont want to have their innocent minds corrupted by dickheads. 

Metro Hash | Wednesdays

Metro Hash run the Taipei area on Wednesday nights, usually, as the name suggests, close to a metro station for your convenience. 

Birthday Hash | Birthdays

Birthday hash can run any day of the week, usually in the evening to celebrate a members birthday. Their down downs are ridiculous and there is usually cake! 

 

TNT | Fridays

TNT (Taipei Night Trail) run every second Friday in the Taipei area. TNT is a younger hash with a majority of students running with them. They have the coolest T-shirt designs if you are into that sort of thing. 

Hsinchu Hash | Saturdays

Hsinchu Hash are ridiculous, they run Once a month on Saturdays out of the cultural hub city of Hsinchu. They are famous for being… “a little bit Hsinchu” 

WHAT Hash | Wednesdays

Wednesday Hash at Taoyuan do exactly what they say on the tin. They run on Wednesday’s in Taoyuan. 

I have never had the pleasure myself but they seem like a lovely bunch of lads and laddettes. 

BAT Hash | Thursdays

The newest hash on our list. BAT hash run in the Beitou and Tamsui area on the First Thursday afternoon of every month. 
They are all rich and unemployed people apparently and as such they have sufficient free time at such an ungodly hour. 

Typhoon Hash

T2H3 Taipei Typhoon Hash House Harriers run only on weekdays when a typhoon day is called. 

They change GM and committee every run and sometimes go years between runs.

Taichung Hash | Saturdays

Taichung hash run every Saturday except for the last one of the month (confusing isn’t it) in, you guessed it, Taichung.

They sell a lot of pretty cloths and have very loud people who run with them.  

Kaohsiung Hash | Saturdays

KH3 run every second Saturday in and around the Kaohsiung area. I dont really know much more about them than that.
They like the colour red I think.

Douliu Hash | Saturdays

Douliu Hash is most famous for not being very famous, in fact they are so illusive that for years I was not fully sure they existed but they do I met one of them one time and he assures me they run on the last saturday of every month… unless they dont. 

MEGA HASH | Annually

Running once a year off the island of Taiwan in remote exotic locations. Places are limited so if you want to secure a spot you will need to book your place and pay in a timely fashion. 

Formosa Hash | Monthly

Every Saturday women only Hash club who run with wine in one hand and their husbands leashes in the other.
